Evaluation
When considering Pick n Save, you will be shown the amount of traffic flow for the location where it is placed, also other information we know about the area that may be useful to advertise to your target market. For example, a shopping centre may have between 50,000 and 200,000 people passing through per week. A local gym may have 2,000 per week passing through.
We will report to you every month to let you know how many cards are taken so you know your conversion rate of redemption. Work this out by dividing the number of sales made from the use of the cards, into the number of cards taken from the dispenser during that month.
If you have different offers printed, it will show which ones are more successful so they can be replicated in other Pick n Save dispensers in more locations.
Lifetime Value
The cost of having your special offers in the
Pick n Save dispensers is easy to get back in profits. When a potential client takes a card for the first time they choose it for a reason, to use your business to gain something that wasn’t available from your competitors.
From the time of the card being presented in your business, you will know the offer and where it came from, and you can choose to keep the card or record it along with other sales made from Pick n Save redemptions, so the new client can use it again.
Although you are not going to make full profit on every transaction, customers are still handing over repeat profit that you didn’t have before, and maybe would not have received at all. These new customers may come back once a week or once a month for the next 5 years! You work out the extra profit made from each new client!
Humans are creatures of habit, once they are coming to your business more regularly, they will start to bring their friends and associates along. These people, more than likely, won’t use a Pick n Save special offer card, then you make full profit on the transactions.
Comparison of other
forms of Advertising
TV advertising, radio, newspapers, shopper dockets, trade shows, letterbox drops, networking groups, trade magazines and local shows all come at different costs and return different results.
As an example, TV and radio require a large investment and have measuring means. Shopper dockets and letterbox drops can get to more people but are over-used as a form of advertising, so they can be overlooked far too easily. Local shows, expos and trade shows are expensive and time consuming, and they only have a short time to attract the potential client, as people are rushing to see everything on display.
Pick n Save has a very high redemption rate, is in the potential client’s face for up to 12 months, reaches a larger number of target markets and costs a whole lot less than other forms of advertising.
Advertising Rates
To have your business advertised in the Pick n Save dispenser, prices range from $15 - $25 per week.
The dispensers are located in a number of high traffic areas that you have the opportunity to advertise in: the higher the traffic, the more you will pay. For example, a shopping centre may be classed as a more expensive location than a chicken shop around the corner.
Payment is made upfront for 6 or 12 month time periods. This payment will include 500 or 1000 cards respectively. Alternatively, a smaller upfront payment can be made and a direct debit is put into place. By paying up front for the total amount, you will receive a discount. |
